We are the main characters of this wine farm located in Piedmont (Italy) in Diano d´Alba (about 8 km. from Alba).
This is an area characterised by castles and by the Regional Grinzane Cavour and Barolo Wine Shops. We are near Serralunga d´Alba castle and we overlook superbe Langa views.
Diano d´Alba is a small village located on the top of a hill (500 meters above sea level). Its economy is linked to Dolcetto wine which has here a specific DOC concerning only the municipal territory (Diano d´Alba is Dolcetto).
This territory is intended to affirm its value through the delicacy and elegance
of its wine and "Söri" (best vineyards).
In the middle of the Eighties, the territory of Diano d´Alba was object of census in order to find the most suitable vine-growing areas for sun-exposure and soil characteristics. In this way, we called the best vineyards "Söri" and we indicated their names on the label.
In Diano d´Alba we produce only one million bottles of Dolcetto wine. Unfortunately this is a small quantity to be world-wide known and often this wine is mistaken with other Dolcetto variety wines.
We cultivate 8 ha. of vineyard and 10 ha. of hazel groves in this wonderful hilly area and with our grapes we produce 6 DOC wines
